BlackBerry 7250

The BlackBerry® 7250 Wireless Handheld gives you quick, convenient access to all your wireless communication needs. You’ll get a superior wireless email and application experience, combined with built-in phone features, in a single, integrated handheld. With Ev-DO technology*, the BlackBerry® 7250 provides fast email, application and browser speeds. It even lets you connect your laptop or PC to the Internet, using the handheld as a tethered modem— so you don’t need to carry a wireless PC card.

Size: 4.5 x 2.9 x 0.9 inches (LxWxD)
Weight: 4.9 oz.
Display: Color display

The BlackBerry 7250 takes all of the businesslike features that BlackBerry is famous for and improves. The BlackBerry 7250 is designed for the business or corporate professional. This is quite similar to several other BlackBerry models. The communication facilities in the phone take precedence over the so called fun features that dominate other brands of cell phones. With quality and reliability at the top of their priority list, those that use the BlackBerry line of phones will nit be disappointed by the 7250.

The RIM Blackberry 7250 for Sprint is the first CDMA Blackberry complete with Bluetooth wireless connectivity, making it a must-have for Alltel customers who need a mobile productivity suite. With complete PDA functionality and 14MB of internal memory, this smartphone will manage all your mobile data— push email, HTML info and most file formats. The backlit QWERTY keyboard and the high-resolution display make the dual-band RIM Blackberry 7250 for Sprint a superior buy for the discerning user.

The 7250 also sports a mini-browser that’s pre-set to Telstra’s WAP portal, but if you want to do anything other than BlackBerry-based e-mail you’ll be hooking the unit up to your notebook (using the supplied USB cable) to press-gang it into service as a digital wireless modem. This taps into the same EV-DO network as used by Telstra’s BigPond Wireless Broadband service, delivering between 300-600Kbps in metropolitan areas and throttling back to a still-meritorious 100Kbps over the regional CDMA network.

The metal bases, holding the speakers up from a single stud in the rear are well designed, with four long rubber strips underneath each one to prevent slipping across the desk. Despite the stud in the rear, routing cables from the backs of the satellites is incredibly easy thanks to [...]

Creative Gigaworks G500
19 Mar 2010

Within the computer space, speaker technology has developed in leaps and bounds over recent years with companies like Creative, Logitech and formerly Videologic producing speakers that have gained respect, albeit grudgingly, from audio professionals. After all, having a sound card with the processing power of a nuclear station counts for [...]

Hercules XPS 5.1 70
19 Mar 2010

Hercules’ XPS 5.1 70 has a silvery plastic finish that looks a little tacky. At least the low-profile centre speaker fits neatly under a monitor. A solitary bass knob on the back of the subwoofer is the only means of tone control, while a volume knob and headphone socket are integrated into the right satellite. With a [...]

Motorola Razr Maxx
18 Mar 2010

This is not the best RAZR we’ve seen, that honor is still held by the RAZR V3xx. Still, this phone does have a couple of advantages over the AT&T device. First, we like the updated look of the Maxx, it provides a nice evolutionary bridge between this phone and the KRZR. Second, the camera on [...]
